Bizkaia, like other advanced European regions, is facing the demographic challenge, one of the consequences of which is a shortage of the talent needed for industry and advanced services in the province, especially STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) talent.
Our mission is to change the trend (point of inflexion) in the gap which currently exists between the STEM skills required by companies and the supply of qualified persons currently available in our province, by means of a joint commitment between agents involved in the generation, attraction and development of talent, taking on coordinated, individual and collective commitments and carrying out a follow-up of their impact.
All of this is regarded as a critical factor for noteworthy progress in terms of the digital, green and demographic transitions which condition the competitivity of our business network and social welfare of Bizkaia.
